Terms Of Service
UK Secure Web Hosting provides web hosting services and is a trading name for The Phone Number Shop Ltd. UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to suspend or cancel a customer's access to any or all services provided by UK Secure Web Hosting when UK Secure Web Hosting decides that the account has been inappropriately used. Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.Complaints
We will respond to all complaints within five working days - Although usually response is much quicker. All complaints will remain confidential and be treated fairly - We will handle all complaints effectively, keep you well informed of progress and resolve your complaint within 14 days. If you are unhappy with any service provided by UK Secure Web Hosting, please contact us immediately either by phone or by clicking here.
Server Use
Accounts are to be used by the primary owner only. Account holders are not permitted to resell, store or give away web-hosting services from their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include classified ads, and personal ads.
UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to refuse service and /or access to its servers to anyone.
UK Secure Web Hosting do not allow any of the following content to be stored on its servers:
Illegal Material - This includes copyrighted works, commercial audio, video, or music files, and any material in violation of any Federal, State or Local regulation.
Adult Material - Includes all pornography, erotic images, or otherwise lewd or obscene content - The designation of "adult material" is left entirely to the discretion of UK Secure Web Hosting, please email us if in doubt or to find out if your site will be acceptable.
Warez - Includes pirated software, ROMS, emulators, phreaking, hacking, password cracking. IP spoofing, etc., and encrypting of any of the above. Also includes any sites which provide "links to" or "how to" information about such material.
High Resource User Policy
Resources are defined as bandwidth and/or processor utilization.UK Secure Web Hosting may implement the following policy to its sole discretion:
When a website is found to be monopolising the resources available UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to suspend that site immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of our servers - Please do not upload any singular file greater than 10MB to your web hosting account.
Payment Policies
All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. Payment is due each anniversary year or month following the date the account was established. Customers will automatically be charged again at the end of their prepay period unless closure notification has already been given.
In situations where the card number on file is declined UK Secure Web Hosting will immediately suspend the facility to purchase services on-line until the outstanding charge is processed successfully. In addition, UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to suspend other services until the outstanding debt is cleared. The customer is responsible for all money owed on the account from the time it was established to the time that the customer sends a written cancellation request.
Bills, invoices and receipts will be sent by email unless otherwise agreed.
Payment Options
In order to streamline our accounting procedures and keep costs down UK Secure Web Hosting runs a limited number of payment options. We do accept credit/debit cards securely online.
- *Cheques in UK£, US$, Euro€ and PayPal payments are also accepted, please contact us if you would like to pay with cheque or PayPal - Exchange rates apply, exchange rates for cheque payments are determined by our bank - Cater Allen Ltd.
* If your payment by cheque is not honoured, you will be liable for £35.00 to administer our banking charges and administration costs for each and every occurrence.

30 Day Money Back Guarantee
For customers opening their first account there is a 30 day money back guarantee. Customers will not be entitled to this benefit if they have previously had an account with UK Secure Web Hosting unless the period of absence has been greater than one year. New customers will not be entitled to a money back guarantee if any account has previously been created at the same postal address within the same 12 month time span.
If a customer contravenes UK Secure Web Hostings' Terms and Conditions' or the Acceptable Use Policy a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation.
Money will be refunded to the credit / debit card used for payment within seven working days of receiving a request for a money back guarantee.Cancellation and Refunds
UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to cancel the service at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a pro rata refund based upon the remaining period of service. If a customer contravenes UK Secure Web Hostings' Terms and Conditions' or the Acceptable Use Policy a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation.Customers may cancel their account at any time. If done so within 30 days of your web hosting account being opened, your payment will be refunded within 7 days of your cancellation and without question.
Any incentives offered to customers when opening the account will also be cancelled. Customers may be given the option to purchase services which were offered as start-up incentives in the result of a cancellation.
Domain Ownership
The domain names will be registered using the details collected during sign-up. It will belong and be registered to you, but UK Secure Web Hosting will only pay for the domain while you maintain a fully paid account with UK Secure Web Hosting. IF YOU WISH TO TRANSFER THE DOMAIN TO ANOTHER REGISTRAR THEN A £10 ADMIN CHARGE WILL BE REQUIRED.
Domain Name Registration
You should be aware that when you place an order for a domain name that we are billed immediately with each registration and, as such, cannot offer you a cancellation period. You should, therefore, take great care not to make any errors in your order.
We will register up to 10 domain names per fully paid account. The domain names must be available for registration and can only be used as an alias to the fully paid account. UK Secure Web Hosting cannot be held responsible if the domain is not available for registration when UK Secure Web Hosting attempts to purchase the domain.
VAT Policy
UK Secure Web Hosting is a trading name for The Phone Number Shop Ltd. which is a VAT registered company (VAT No. 694 8685 58). All prices quoted are shown as exclusive and inclusive of VAT - VAT is currently charged at 17.5% for all EU countries.
Indemnification
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold UK Secure Web Hosting harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against UK Secure Web Hosting, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless UK Secure Web Hosting against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with UK Secure Web Hosting's server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from UK Secure Web Hosting's server.
Disclaimer
Whilst every care is taken by UK Secure Web Hosting in the provision of our services we can not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer through technical outages or other occurances. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-deliveries, wrong delivery, and any and all service interruptions caused by UK Secure Web Hosting, its employees, suppliers, customers or any third party. UK Secure Web Hosting reserves the right to revise its policies at any time.- We do not backup client data stored on our servers. It is recommended that you keep an independent backup of all data stored on your virtual server.
